How I Got Here:
I’ve always known that I’m an artist. As far back as I can remember I’ve always been doodling, drawing, building and creating things. When my family got our first “Tandy” computer I was amazed by the possibilities of this new artistic tool! I took my first computer design class in high school and was completely hooked.
I studied Imaging and Digital Arts in college. There were two possible core concentrations: 2d & 3d Animation or Web & Interactivity. I couldn’t choose… so I did both! After graduation, I gained invaluable professional experience working for advertising and interactive agencies, but I really wanted to pursue my creative passion. DC Web Designers gave me the opportunity to follow my dream and do what I love most.
What I Do Here:
I’m responsible for leading a design project from concept to completion. I work with our creative team to first discover the specific artistic goals for each project – design is subjective, and every client is different. Once we understand your needs and goals, I provide art direction and create graphics and page designs that turn your vision into a reality. Aside from front-end development, I also oversee the website maintenance for our existing clientele. In short, I do what I’ve always loved doing: my hobby has become my career!
