Roselle Montesion, Creative Director / Lead Project Manager
How I Got Here:
I spent over two decades in advertising – from giant, corporate firms, to a small family-owned shop. I saw trends come and go, but the Web was totally different. I quickly recognized that this medium provided a path to merge my diversified strengths and talents. The creative side of my brain logical thrives on artistry and aesthetics, while the analytical side loves the smart use of innovative programming. In the world of web design and development that level of schizophrenia is actually a positive thing.
What I Do Here:
Since I’m a self-proclaimed “hybrid” (not to be confused with “Hydra”, although on a bad day there are similarities) I need to manage two different sets of priorities. It’s my job to listen, learn, advise, plan, organize, monitor and manage throughout the project lifecycle. What that often means is juggling the following: creative direction, project management, web design, flash editing, QA Testing, and anything else that needs to get done. J
Once the project is underway I’m your sole point of contact – from inception to completion you’re stuck with me. We work together very closely for a number of months, so I sincerely try to foster a high-trust relationship. This dynamic allows for healthy communication, constructive criticism and (very) necessary debate.
There’s certainly never a dull moment. Staying focused, working efficiently and remaining detail-oriented helps keep projects moving forward, within their original timeline, scope and budget. Helping to create an elegant, professional and unique website, that’s also intuitive, smart and user-friendly is challenging and rewarding… for both sides of my brain.
